Seeded Cob

Making your own bread ensures that you are consuming natural ingredients and enables you to add plenty of nutritious extras.


Shopping List

275g Strong White Flour

175g Strong Wholemeal Flour

40g Porridge Oats

20g Milled Linseed

15g Sesame Seeds

1 Tsp Salt

1 x 7g Sachet of Yeast

300ml of Lukewarm Water

Method

Add the water to the other ingredients to make a dough. Knead for 5 minutes. Place a plate over the bowl and leave for about an hour.

Knead the dough for a minute. Shape into a ball and place on a floured baking sheet. Cover with an upturned bowl and Leave for 30 minutes.


Pre-heat the oven to 220 degrees centigrade. Slash the top of the dough with a sharp knife and sprinkle with flour. Bake for 10 minutes then lower the temperature and bake for another 20 minutes.
